Load a Topology to a Parcel Fabric Tool Add Field Mapping

  • I would like to request to add a module to this tool for field mapping. The white papers say to add a new field to existing data to match those fields in the parcel fabric. This method works but I think adding a field mapping module to the existing tool would make more sense

If you have your line and polygon data ready to migrate, and a target gdb set up, you can use Load Data in ArcCatalog to map fields. Ths was the route I saw in a presentation by Amin Boar (sp?) in an ESRI Meetup.

Certainly seems like a more logical way to go for current GDB implementations.
