Remove Feature Dataset within ArcMap when viewing by "List by Source"

  • I'm currently running ArcGIS for Desktop Basic 10.1 and one feature which would be extremely useful would be, when in the List by Source view in the Table of Contents, be able to right click on the Feature Dataset and remove all feature classes from the map.

We're able to remove the (File) Geodatabase at the moment and the features themselves, but there is no context menu for the Feature Datasets.

Good idea. Context menu for feature dataset should also allow to globally change the source.

The whole workspace (geodatabase or folder) should be able to change and repair all relevant sources of loaded feature classes and have the possibility to start and stop editing too.
